Hello! Wow it’s been a while, hasn’t it? I’m energized to be back again right now with a write-up about the 2021 Hampton Designer Showhouse. This is a designer Showhouse that benefits Stony Brook Southampton Clinic, and my mother and I go every single 12 months. Last 12 months it of course did not truly happen owing to Covid, so we were extra happy to be again this summer time!

1 of my favorite rooms this time all-around was the bedroom by Kerri Pilchik Style, a new-to-me designer that I’m happy to have identified through the Showhouse. She designed a beautiful, welcoming bedroom that utilized purple and green to wonderful effect, and I really like that she used tons of pattern as perfectly. In my humble belief, a massive part of what tends to make this room successful is the way that, regardless of working with mainly only two hues, she employed varying shades of each individual. When you just use two hues and they’re all the very same shade, it can experience incredibly flat and just one note – but by varying and mixing various versions of the two shades, Kerri manufactured it experience seriously appealing and dynamic. She also brought in a third accent color (blue) which is an additional essential when executing a place that’s generally two hues only. Kerri said she was impressed by English design and I imagine that is why I beloved it so a lot! That and the beautiful floral arrangement by Mary Stuart Bouquets – how really is that?! Listed here are a few photographs I was able to seize – hope you enjoy this peek!

This quite wallpaper is Thistle by Schumacher created by Neisha Crosland. Like I mentioned, I like that Kerri brought in a 3rd color (blue) to mix up the mostly purple and green colour palette. I consider that helps make this kind of a huge distinction! I also feel it’s great that she introduced in black chairs – a touch of black is important to floor any place, even if it is just just one piece. And the rattan seats are key, due to the fact a thing pure like jute or rattan is usually a welcome addition to any place. I know you can only see a peek of it, but I really like the substantial-scale artwork by Maura Segal through Amy Simon Fantastic Artwork. The wonderful tablecloth is Tanzania from Peter Fasano – how best is that with the wallpaper?

I love the wallpapered ceiling, which is Grande Luma from Peter Fasano. A single of my most loved factors designers do is employ the ceiling – no matter whether it is lacquer or wallpaper or some intriguing architectural get the job done, it just normally delights me to see that. The vintage bench was reupholstered in Arcadia/Marsh from Schuyler Samperson textiles. The centerpiece of the area, that epic mattress, is a customized Chatham mattress from Highland House Household furniture with a Quadrille material.

How attractive is that lamp that looks like tortoiseshell? And of course I’m incredibly obsessed with patterned, pleated lampshades nowadays so I just really like that. Both of those are from Vaughan Styles. You can see extra below of how Kerri integrated blue, which is genuinely refreshing amidst the purple and eco-friendly. Also I love nightstands that have that minimal pull-out platform matter earlier mentioned the drawers, so useful. This is the Gabriel Upper body from Highland Dwelling. Individuals sweet minimal bowls (with toes!!) are an amazing Etsy locate according to Kerri’s Instagram! The block print quilt is Les Indiennes.

Here’s a minimal glimpse of the adjoining bathroom that Kerri designed – additional blue and the most wonderful cornice that continues the sample of the Wheel of Fortune wallpaper from Abnormals Anonymous by using Temple Studio in New York. And you can see only the teensiest glimpse but the ceiling is significant gloss lavender!

I hope if you’re in the place or want to make a working day of it you are going to take into consideration examining out the Hampton Designer Showhouse! There are so a lot of other stunning rooms that I was not capable to photograph but I’m glad I could highlight this a person in unique.
