A Puppy Themed Party for a Two Year Old

In case no person has ever advised you right before, throwing a second birthday celebration is NOT THE Exact as throwing a 1st birthday party. I’ll inform you suitable now – ha. As it turns out, six young children less than the age of six is a lot of youngsters and I swear I’m still recovering. At 1 stage they had just about each individual toy my daughter owns stuffed in her crib – it was entire to the pretty brim. There could possibly have been a child or two in there way too bouncing all-around as well, but it is tough to say. I also discovered a wood spoon below our bathtub, and different other family products strewn in destinations they need not be. Useless to say, when they can not wander and they don’t truly have pals it’s quick. Who knew! But my woman had a ton of entertaining, and still talks about her dog themed bash weeks later.

Whilst her initially birthday celebration was actually for my spouse and I (howdy baby blob), this year my sweet lady experienced views. She explicitly requested a puppy dog themed get together “with pizza and ice cream cake” weeks prior, and she did not after waiver, so normally we necessary to deliver. 

We didn’t go much too crazy with the meals or decor, opting to maintain it as straightforward as attainable (although however concentrating on a few pertinent details) and it ended up currently being definitely lovable. But most importantly, my daughter was thrilled to no end.

A selfmade balloon arch (we purchased a kit! it was fantastic and saved us a TON of money), some puppy dog paw print stickers, and a several minimal plastic canine to adorn her ice cream cake was the title of the decor game. We also picked up some definitely cute doggy-shaped foil balloons, comprehensive with ribbon leashes, and each individual kid acquired to consider one residence. I tried out my hand at some DIY party hats, which were remarkably thriving. And Ivy and I whipped up some do-it-yourself dog chow and place them in “doggy bags” to give out as occasion favors as her friends departed. It was uncomplicated and playful and I’m thrilled with the success (terrorized home and all!)  Here’s how it all turned out…
